wedding beers
i was recently invited to a friends sisters wedding, and when i learned that the groom was brewing beers for the reception i couldn't help but offer to design labels for them.
...of course they said yes.
this was the result:
i am looking forward to getting them from the printer.

the final result
get well soon
one of my co-workers is going through chemo right now, so i made her this drawing.
hopefully she has a speedy recovery.
astral projecting
I have a friend named Morgan who takes some pretty rad photos,
and I have started to draw on them as part of a collaborative experiment with her.
This is the first of (hopefully) many.
my first tattoo design
I do not have any tattoos, or any real intentions of getting one.
But I do have a friend who decided he not only wanted one, but wanted me to design it for him.
So I did, and this is what we ended up with.

noel
I have a friend who asked if I could make a label for a christmas beer he brewed.
He named the beer Noel, so thusly the name of the beer is KMNO
(…because there is no L)
He also likes American history and presidents, so FDR was also decided upon as being involved.
Presidents can be tricky people to draw though, so here is what I originally ended up with.
I was short on time and caring at that point, but was happy with how the type turned out.
I didn't get to try the beer, nor see how it turned out as a label, which is unfortunate, but I still enjoyed creating it all the same.
hand-eye conglomerate
I used to have friends who would talk about doing art with me.
I called us the hand-eye conglomerate.
